Proofreading
Proofreading is the last stage in the editing and publishing process. During this step I will:
~Complete a surface level check for inconsistencies in the text
~Correct errors in punctuation, spelling, word usage, and grammar
~Adjust issues with formatting, font spacing/type, and capitalization

Copyediting
Going one step further than proofreading, copyediting includes similar checks in terms of grammar, formatting, and punctuation. During this step I will also:
~Check for inconsistencies within style guidelines (*a style guide can be created upon request*)
~Verify facts for accurate information
~Highlight awkward and unclear phrases and vocabulary
~Flag possible issues with copyright
~Improve the readability of a sentence with word usage and syntax
~Provide solutions and/or suggestions for possible reorganizing of text
$0.015 per word
