About Me

“When did you first fall in love with words?”

Growing up, my mother would always say if I came across a word I didn’t know, I should look it up. Needless to say, a little red Webster’s dictionary undoubtedly became my best friend! After that, I became known as the girl whose nose was always buried in a book. That’s when I knew I fell in love.

I loved the feeling of learning and spelling new words, and soaking up everything I saw in a new book from cover to cover.

Over the years I’ve become more in love with the art of storytelling and how words on a page could transport you to a different time and place. Or even how they could evoke feelings buried deep within one’s soul. This still happens for me when reading a variety of material: fiction and non-fiction books, cookbooks (because food and stories surrounding food can stir things up — pun intended!), Christian devotionals, social media posts, articles, and the like.

My passion for words has only deepened with time, and it is with this passion and enthusiasm that I approach my work as an editorial professional.

I am fully trained and certified thanks to Edit Republic, a well-known and established school in the editorial world. I firmly believe in the power of words, as they have longevity and the ability to last for generations.

How much more impactful, far-reaching, and long-lasting can the written word be when it is error and distraction free?
